Early 2000s Mustangs are cheap because: they’re plentiful, and compared to the current Mustang (2005 to date) they leave a lot to be desired as a sports car.
They’re not BAD, they’re just nowhere near as refined (ride, noise level, handling, etc…) as the newer model.
